Blue Flame

Kim Pinkham:

Chefs Assistant

Kim's lifelong passion for cooking started at a young age. Inspiration came from her mother and grandmother, who encouraged her to be adventurous in cooking and teaching her the importance of being a good hostess and how a beautifully set table can take a presentation to new heights

A Gustavus College graduate, she retired after 36 years from the U of M in Pediatric Nephrology. She now enjoys volunteering in her church kitchen and cooking for Thyme Saver. Cooking shows on TV are a favorite pastime, as well as taking cooking classes at local locations such as Cooks of Crocus Hill every opportunity she gets. When not cooking for Thyme Saver or at her church, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her grown son.
