Studied at Westlake Culinary Institute, Westlake Village, CA., under the direction of Chef Cecilia De Castro. Christina has over twelve years experience catering and preparing meals for private families in the west metro area of Minneapolis.
When not cooking for clients Christina enjoys, gardening, boating and traveling with her husband to exciting culinary destinations.
Kim's lifelong passion for cooking started at a young age. Inspiration came from her mother and grandmother, who encouraged her to be adventurous in cooking and teaching her the importance of being a good hostess and how a beautifully set table can take a presentation to new heights
A Gustavus College graduate, she retired after 36 years from the U of M in Pediatric Nephrology. She now enjoys volunteering in her church kitchen and cooking for Thyme Saver. Cooking shows on TV are a favorite pastime, as well as taking cooking classes at local locations such as Cooks of Crocus Hill every opportunity she gets. When not cooking for Thyme Saver or at her church, she enjoys traveling, and spending time with her grown son.
Duke University graduate, turning her passion for cooking into a second career. She returned to school and graduated from the Culinary Program of The Art Institute of Atlanta. She also works for Normandale Lutheran Church, where she plans and produces weekly dinners with the aid of devoted volunteers. While her dinner menus focus on classic comfort food, she also creates menus for elegant receptions and special events.
Kimlinh also heads a one-woman pastry business called Sacre Sweet, that produces desserts for sale throughout the Twin Cities, including at the Linden Hills Co-op and Orchestra Hall. She has worked in restaurants, bakeshops, pastry kitchens, and catering operations in Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis.
